On January 10, 2024, during the meeting of University Management team at the Chor Pradu Meeting Room, Walailak University, Acting President Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong presented flower bouquets to students and staff who have brought recognition to the university. The accolades included the “Outstanding Teacher” award and the recipients of the UKPSF Certificate. Among them was a student from the School of Engineering and Technology, recognized as part of the “The SparkEnergy GreenSupercap” team.
The students from the Department of Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, were awarded the first prize in the higher education category at The Young Energy Designer Awards 2023.
