On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM, Thai Buri Building, the School of Engineering and Technology organized the event “Dean and Academic Advisors Meet Students for the 3rd Semester of 2026.” Assist. Prof. Dr. Monthian Setkit, the Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, welcomed faculty members and students during the first week of the new semester.
The event aimed to foster relationships between students and their academic advisors, promoting a positive learning environment. It provided an opportunity for students to learn more about their courses, meet their professors, and engage in various creative activities. The activity is held regularly each semester to ensure that students have a fulfilling university experience.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Monthian Setkit introduced the faculty’s mission, vision, and values and presented the newly formed student club to enhance student awareness. Following the general session, students were divided into groups based on their majors to meet with their respective academic advisors.
During these smaller group sessions, students had the chance to discuss teaching and learning experiences, course registrations, and any challenges they might be facing. The goal was to create an open dialogue and provide valuable feedback that could be used to improve the overall student experience.
