On January 15, 2024, faculty members and experts from the School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, engaged in promotional activities for degree programs at Suratpittaya School and Thepmitr Suksa School in Surat Thani Province. The initiative aimed to provide comprehensive information about undergraduate education to sixth-year high school students, preparing them for university applications in the 2024 academic year.
The School of Engineering and Technology offers a range of graduate programs encompassing six courses: Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, Civil Engineering, Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering and Robotics.
The outreach activities were essential in increasing awareness and understanding of these academic offerings among high school students. The effort serves to expand educational options for students interested in pursuing studies in these fields.
