As part of Walailak University’s commitment to fostering graduates who are globally competitive and rooted in the principles of Sustainable Development, the School of Engineering and Technology has devised strategic initiatives. These initiatives aim to instill in students the values of gratitude, discipline, volunteerism, and leadership development, preparing them to excel internationally.
The Engineering and Technology Symbol Grant Project stands as a testament to these overarching strategies. This project, specifically designed to enhance students’ leadership skills, is geared towards encouraging active engagement in school and university activities. It aims to nurture a mindset that embraces self-development through active participation while also promoting the prudent use of leisure time and steering clear of harmful substances.
In line with these goals, the Engineering and Technology Symbol Giving Activity recognizes the dedication and commitment of Year 3, Class 24 engineering, and technology students. The faculty acknowledges and awards these students for their active involvement and demonstrated leadership within the university community.
