On December 6, 2023, the School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, was honored by Prof.Dr. Subhas Mukhopadhyay, a distinguished Professor of Mechanical/Electronic Engineering, School of Engineering, Macquarie University, Australia. The visit focused on a seminar where Prof. Mukhopadhyay shared his academic experience in teaching and research. Discussions revolved around potential student and staff mobilities, joint research initiatives, and opportunities for online collaboration between the two schools.
In this event, faculty members from the department of Computer Engineering and Electronics, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering participated. Prof. Dr. Subhas Mukhopadhyay is an expert in sensor technology, which can be applied across multidisciplinary. He also delivered an insightful lecture titled ‘Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things in Engineering’ to the first and second-year students of Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.
