On Thursday, August 6, 2026, the School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, participated in an academic program promotion and educational guidance activity at Nawaminthrachuthit Thaksin School, Songkhla Province. The activity aimed to provide upper-secondary students in Grades 10–12 from the Science and Mathematics Ability (SMA) Program with useful information about higher education opportunities and to introduce them to engineering and technology programs offered by Walailak University.

During the activity, representatives from the School of Engineering and Technology provided students with information on academic programs, teaching and learning approaches, and the knowledge and skills required in various fields of engineering and technology. The session was designed to help students gain a clearer understanding of university-level study and explore educational pathways that match their individual interests, strengths, and future career goals.

Students were also introduced to the learning environment and university life at Walailak University, including both theoretical and practical learning experiences. Guidance was provided on how students can prepare themselves for higher education, particularly in terms of strengthening their academic foundations, developing analytical and problem-solving skills, and preparing for university admission procedures. For students interested in pursuing engineering and technology, the activity also highlighted the important role these disciplines play in industrial development, technological innovation, and the future economy.

The event provided an open and friendly environment where students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with university representatives. Topics of interest included academic programs, university learning experiences, preparation for admission, student life, and potential career opportunities after graduation. This interactive exchange allowed students to receive clear and relevant information while gaining a better understanding of what studying engineering and technology at university may involve.

The participation of the School of Engineering and Technology in this educational guidance activity reflects its commitment to creating educational opportunities, strengthening collaboration between the university and secondary schools, and providing students with reliable information to support their future academic decisions. It also serves as an important platform for inspiring young learners to recognize the opportunities and potential career pathways available in engineering and technology.

Walailak University is committed to supporting students in discovering the academic program that best matches their interests, developing their full potential, and preparing themselves to become future professionals in engineering and technology who are ready to respond confidently to the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
