The Electrical Engineering Program, School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, proudly extends its encouragement to Mr. Nattawut Khamchu, a student representative from the School of Engineering and Technology and one of four Walailak University students selected to participate in the national selection round of the 4th Experiential Learning Program (ELP #4). The selection was held on 23–24 July 2026 at the Northern Science Park, Chiang Mai Province.
This national selection serves as an important platform for students from universities across Thailand to demonstrate their potential, creativity, innovation skills, and readiness to become future entrepreneurs. The program aims to select the final 15 students who will have the opportunity to participate in international study visits and experience-sharing activities focused on innovation and entrepreneurship in the United Kingdom, France, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
Walailak University was represented by four regional-level student representatives: Mr. Kittisak Karnthasut, Mr. Peeranat Khirirak, and Mr. Nachaphong Chuchot from the School of Medicine, together with Mr. Nattawut Khamchu from the School of Engineering and Technology.
Participation in the national selection provides students with valuable learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Participants have the chance to meet experts, exchange ideas and experiences with students from universities across the country, and strengthen important skills such as presentation, analytical thinking, problem solving, innovation development, and entrepreneurship.
For Electrical Engineering students, technical knowledge alone may not be sufficient in a rapidly changing world. Opportunities to develop innovation skills, business perspectives, interdisciplinary teamwork, and an international outlook can help students apply engineering knowledge more effectively and transform ideas into products, services, or solutions that respond to the needs of society and industry.
