On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the Electrical Engineering Program, School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, organized a farewell activity for fourth-year students of the EE66 cohort at Room 5301, Lecture Building 5, Walailak University. The activity was held to congratulate the students and offer encouragement as they prepare for an important new chapter, including cooperative education, future careers, and life after graduation.
The event was filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere, bringing together faculty members, staff, alumni, and Electrical Engineering students. It provided an opportunity for participants to share their feelings, strengthen relationships, and reflect on the valuable memories created throughout their years of study at Walailak University.
A special highlight of the activity was a session featuring alumni of the Electrical Engineering Program, who shared their experiences and practical advice with the fourth-year students. The alumni offered guidance on preparing for and adapting to cooperative education placements, including adjusting to professional working environments, maintaining appropriate workplace conduct, working effectively with colleagues, taking responsibility for assigned duties, and applying academic knowledge and technical skills in real-world situations.
In addition, the alumni shared lessons learned from their own professional journeys to help junior students better prepare for the transition from university life to the workplace. They also extended their best wishes and words of encouragement to the students as they prepare to move forward toward new opportunities and future careers.
From the first day the students became part of the Electrical Engineering family to the present moment, they have experienced many aspects of university life, including classroom learning, laboratory practice, project work, student activities, challenges, hard work, enjoyment, friendship, and personal growth. Each experience has contributed to their development in terms of academic knowledge, professional skills, responsibility, teamwork, and the ability to live and work effectively with others.
Beyond technical knowledge in electrical engineering, one of the most valuable aspects of their university experience has been the strong relationships formed among classmates, senior and junior students, faculty members, staff, and alumni. These connections represent not only lasting memories but also an important professional and personal network that students can carry with them as they pursue their individual paths.
On this occasion, the Electrical Engineering Program extended its best wishes to all fourth-year students of the EE66 cohort. The Program encouraged them to move forward with confidence and to apply the knowledge, skills, and experiences gained at Walailak University to their cooperative education placements, professional careers, and future lives. The Program also wished them success in their chosen paths and resilience in facing future challenges.
No matter how far their journeys may take them, the students will always remain part of the “Electrical Engineering WU” family — a home of learning, friendship, and shared memories.
Some memories do not end on farewell day. They remain with us and continue to grow throughout our lives. Although this day marks an important page in the students’ journeys, their story is far from over. The story of the Walailak University Electrical Engineering family will continue to be written through the achievements, experiences, and new chapters of every graduate.
