On Thursday, September 3, 2026, the Electrical Engineering Program, School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, organized “EEE Innovation Day 2026” as a platform for fourth-year students to present their projects, innovations, and creative ideas developed through the practical application of electrical engineering knowledge. The event highlighted students’ abilities in analytical thinking, system design, problem-solving, and innovation development, demonstrating how classroom knowledge can be transformed into tangible engineering solutions.
The event provided students with an important opportunity to present the knowledge and experience they had accumulated throughout their studies. Each student team worked through a complete engineering project development process, beginning with identifying a problem and defining a project concept, followed by reviewing relevant information, designing systems, selecting appropriate equipment and technologies, assembling components, conducting tests, analyzing results, and improving overall performance. These processes clearly reflected the students’ ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice and to develop practical engineering systems and prototypes.
During the presentations, students explained their project concepts, operating principles, development processes, experimental results, and possibilities for further improvement. They also responded to questions and received constructive feedback from faculty members. This experience enabled students to strengthen their professional communication skills, systematically explain engineering principles, think critically, and respond effectively to unexpected challenges—skills that are essential for future engineering careers.
In addition to showcasing student projects, EEE Innovation Day 2026 also served as a learning and knowledge-sharing space for students, lecturers, and participants. The event encouraged the exchange of ideas, technical approaches, and project development experiences, while also inspiring students to continue improving their knowledge and skills.
