Walailak University Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering Students Present Final Projects: From Classroom Learning to Hands-On Practice Before Cooperative Education

On September 2, 2026, fourth-year students from the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering Program, School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, presented their final projects, marking an important milestone in their academic journey. The activity provided students with an opportunity to apply the knowledge, skills, and experience they had gained throughout their studies to real project development and practical problem-solving before entering their cooperative education placements.

During the presentations, each student team introduced the concepts, research processes, and outcomes of their projects. The project development process began with identifying a topic or problem of interest, studying relevant information and technical knowledge, planning and designing the work process, conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and improving the project based on the results. These activities allowed students to integrate knowledge in chemical and pharmaceutical engineering with hands-on practice in a systematic and meaningful way.

Throughout the project development process, students received close guidance and support from faculty advisors in the program, who provided academic consultation, advice on project methodology, data analysis, and recommendations for improving the quality and effectiveness of each project. At the same time, students developed essential professional skills such as teamwork, time management, task allocation, responsibility, and problem-solving.

The final project presentations also gave students valuable experience in academic and professional communication. They had the opportunity to explain their project concepts, principles, methodologies, and results in a clear and systematic manner, while responding to questions and receiving constructive feedback from faculty members. This feedback can be used to further improve and develop their projects.

The activity reflects the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering Program’s emphasis on learning through real practice, alongside the development of analytical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. It aims to prepare students to confidently apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings.
