The School of Engineering and Technology would like to congratulate the Guidance Robot for Botanical Walailak University project development team for receiving a special award from the private sector/industry at the TESA Senior Project Developer Pitch Competition 2023. The project development team consists of 3 students: Mr. Chakrin Saengchot, Mr. Mubarak Damtae, and Mr. Pongpong Rattanasuwan, under the mentorship of Professor Krit Funsian, Department of Computer and Electronic Engineering.
The final round of the TESA Senior Project Developer Pitch Competition 2023 was held at TESA Developer Pitch Competition 2023 at NIA: National Innovation Agency, Thailand on March 10, 2023, presenting developer projects in Smart Electronics and AIoT in the final round. Excellent There are many interesting projects. This activity is supported by various agencies that recognize the need to raise the level of skills in developing embedded systems to keep up with the world’s needs.
The judging results included 7 projects that received special awards from the private sector/industry as challenging projects. Use outstanding skills and is consistent with the work of the award giving agency, including:
1. Development of a helmet detection system in controlled areas using AIoT technology by Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. Sakon Nakhon Campus Received two special awards from Inspire Communication and X-Sense.
2. XICRO, a library for communication connections between FIBO KMUTT microcontrollers, received a special award from KV Electronics.
3. Development of artificial touch gloves for Training hand muscles by playing games. Thammasat School of Engineering received a special award from Zanegrowth Company.
4. Storage engine for databases using FPGA, Chulalongkorn University. Received a special award from Design Gateway Company.
