The School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, organized a workshop on English email writing for Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Chemistry undergraduates on July 12, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Room 124, Academic Building 4.
The workshop was organized in collaboration between the School of Engineering and Technology and the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development, Walailak University. The workshop was led by Mr. Pum Chanpom, an expert in English.
Mr. Pum Chanpom has many years of experience teaching English to students and the general public. He is a lecturer and translator of English documents, and he also has many years of experience working in large organizations.
The workshop focused on business English email writing. The workshop covered the following topics:
- The structure of an English email
- The use of English vocabulary and idioms in emails
- The format and etiquette of email writing
- Examples of English emails in different situations
The undergraduates were very interested in the workshop. They listened attentively and took notes carefully. After the workshop, the undergraduates felt more confident in their English email writing skills and were able to write business English emails correctly and effectively.
The workshop was very beneficial for the undergraduates. It will help them in their cooperative education studies and their future careers.
