School of Engineering and Technology at Walailak University Wins Prestigious Awards for Research Funding and Industrial Collaboration

On 26 May, the School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, proudly congratulated its faculty members on receiving distinguished awards in research and industry collaboration from the Walailak University Science and Technology Park (WUSTP). The recognition reflects the strong capabilities of the School’s academic staff in conducting high-quality research, building collaborative networks, and advancing university knowledge toward practical applications in partnership with industry.

The award recipients included Associate Professor Dr. Montien Sergij, who received the Research Collaboration Partner Award in recognition of his role in establishing and strengthening research partnerships and in connecting the University’s expertise and research capabilities with external sectors.

In addition, Associate Professor Dr. Suratsawadee Kulboon Koekoer and Assistant Professor Dr. Nirattisai Rakmak received the Research Funding & Collaboration Leader Award, recognizing their outstanding leadership in securing and managing research funding as well as developing productive collaboration with industry.
