The School of Engineering and Technology would like to congratulate Associate Professor Dr. Wattanapong Kerdthongmee, a lecturer in the Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence program, who received research funding from an external source in January 2024. This funding is from the government sector that has been contracted by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) on the research topic “Development of an automatic tool for diagnosing strabismus using artificial intelligence techniques.”
Associate Professor Dr. Wattanapong Kerdthongmee has expertise in the following areas: Design and construction of control systems and research support tools using microcontrollers/microprocessors, system design and construction using FPGA/CPLD chips using the VHDL language, development of computer procedures for basic image synthesis and CSG structural images (Rendering Algorithms), development of computer procedures for system control using microcontrollers (Process Control), simulation of robot operation using microcomputers, Computer Interfacing, etc.
