On 9 September 2026, during a special congratulatory ceremony held prior to the 9/2026 Meeting of the Academic Council of Walailak University, Associate Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Vice President for Academic Development and Corporate Communication, presented bouquets and certificates of congratulations to faculty members who had been appointed to higher academic positions. The ceremony took place at the Mokhalan Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Professor Dr. Wichit Srisa-an Building, Walailak University.
On this occasion, two faculty members from the School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, were recognized for their academic achievements and appointments to higher academic ranks.
Dr. Suwichak Chaisit, a faculty member of the School of Engineering and Technology, was appointed to the academic rank of Assistant Professor in Pharmacology. This achievement represents another important milestone in his academic career and reflects his expertise, dedication, and continuous commitment to the development of academic work, research, and teaching.
In addition, Assistant Professor Dr. Supakit Iadtrong, a faculty member of the School of Engineering and Technology, was appointed to the academic rank of Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering. His promotion marks a significant advancement in his academic career and demonstrates his expertise and accomplishments in teaching, research, and the development of knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering.
