On June 10, 2026, the School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, launched its academic program guidance and promotional campaign in preparation for the admission of new students for the 2027 academic year. The activity aimed to provide students, teachers, and school guidance counselors with essential information about academic programs, further study pathways, and career opportunities in the fields of engineering and technology.
As part of the campaign, representatives from the School of Engineering and Technology visited Ban Yan Yao Municipal School to conduct an educational guidance session and introduce the academic programs offered by the School. Students received useful information about the curricula, teaching and learning approaches, laboratory-based learning, practical training, and the development of essential engineering and technological skills.
The session also provided guidance on preparing for university admission, including applicant qualifications, portfolio preparation, and other relevant admission requirements. Students were encouraged to explore the different fields of study available and to consider academic pathways that correspond with their interests, abilities, and future career goals.
In addition, students were introduced to a wide range of career opportunities available to engineering and technology graduates. These include careers in the industrial sector, government and private organizations, entrepreneurship, and further study at higher academic levels. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of university life and the learning environment at Walailak University.
Following the activity at Ban Yan Yao Municipal School, representatives from the School of Engineering and Technology visited guidance counselors at Takua Pa “Senanukul” School. The visit aimed to strengthen relationships between the educational institutions and promote cooperation in providing accurate and up-to-date university admission information to students.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged information regarding educational guidance, admission procedures, and opportunities for future collaboration. The discussion also focused on developing a strong educational network that would help students gain greater access to information and opportunities for further study.
