The School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, proudly congratulates Team ECO Brick, students from the Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering program, for winning a Bronze Medal, a certificate, and a cash prize of 5,000 THB in the Green Innovation Contest 2024. The competition was held on October 15, 2024, at The Synergy Hall, 6th Floor, Energy Complex C Building, Bangkok.

Ms. Ratchasuda revealed that OR organized the Green Innovation Contest for the first time under the theme “Green Innovation for a Sustainable World.” The program aims to empower Thai youth to showcase their potential in solving environmental issues through innovative ideas and inventions. This initiative is a significant step toward effective waste management and creating innovations that benefit society, communities, and the nation.
Team ECO Brick brought pride to the Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering program by excelling in the competition’s final round, earning recognition for their creativity, practicality, and alignment with the competition’s goals.
The event was organized by PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited to promote environmentally conscious innovations and the sustainable use of resources. This prestigious competition also included the honor of competing for a Royal Trophy from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
