On August 15, 2024, faculty members and academic staff from the School of Engineering and Technology at Walailak University visited Trang Christian School and Wat Kuan Wiset Foundation School in Trang Province to promote their academic programs. The aim was to provide 11th and 12th-grade students with detailed information about undergraduate studies, helping them prepare for university applications for the academic years 2025-2026.
The School of Engineering and Technology offers six undergraduate programs: Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, Civil Engineering, Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering, and Mechanical and Robotic Engineering.
This proactive promotion is essential for increasing awareness of the programs among students, providing them with accurate information about coursework, extracurricular activities, and potential career paths after graduation. The event included presentations from faculty members and alumni from the participating schools who are currently studying in these programs. The initiative is expected to boost student interest and applications, making the programs more widely known and familiar among prospective students and the general public. This effort is intended to inspire more students to pursue studies in the School of Engineering and Technology.
