On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, first-year students of the Electrical Engineering Program at Walailak University participated in an out-of-classroom learning experience at the Khanom Power Plant Learning Center in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. This visit was part of the Electrical Engineering Conceptual Course, taught by Assist.Prof.Dr. Charoenkiat Phochaiya, aimed at providing students with a practical understanding of electrical engineering processes and operations, complementing their theoretical classroom learning.
Walailak University’s Electrical Engineering Program emphasizes a balanced approach to education, combining classroom instruction with study trips and practical exercises. These activities are designed to provide students with real-world experience and insights, aiding their personal and professional development in the field of electrical engineering.
The study trip program allowed students to observe and understand the processes and work systems in an actual workplace. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience, the program helps students develop academically, work on projects or research, and prepare for cooperative education and future careers.
