Today, on March 13, 2024, third-year students from the Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Chemistry programs at Walailak University visited the wastewater treatment system of Phra Sang Green Power Company Limited in Surat Thani Province. The company is engaged in the production and distribution of electricity. The students were given the opportunity to observe the wastewater treatment process at the factory, which is certified by the Ministry of Industry in terms of the quality of discharged water. The visit was aligned with the Environmental Chemical Engineering course to enhance students’ understanding of environmental pollution impacts, standards, environmental characteristics, wastewater generation from industries, and treatment methods. They gained practical experience at the actual site, which they can apply efficiently in future work. Additionally, the visit prepared them for future cooperative education opportunities.
