School of Engineering and Technology Collaborates with Professor Kiyota Hashimoto from Shunan University

hunan University in Yamaguchi, Japan is joining the ranks of universities worldwide that have developed new programs to meet the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) expertise in the workforce. Starting in 2024, the Faculty of Information Science will offer undergraduate programs in Data Science, Computer Engineering, and Business Intelligence under the leadership of Professor Kiyota Hashimoto.

To build partnerships and enhance the university’s academic standing, the School of Engineering and Technology at Walailak University organized a meeting on May 2, 2023 between Asst. Prof. Dr. Montien Punjakit, Dean of School of Engineering and Technology with faculty members from the Computer and Electronics Engineering department and Professor Kiyota Hashimoto at Meeting Room 113, Academic Building 4, Walailak University. The discussion focused on establishing a network of cooperation for future research projects and student exchange programs.
