Observational Learning for Electrical Engineering Students at Khanom Electric Learning Center, Nakhon Si Thammarat

On February 4, 2023, students enrolled in the electrical engineering program at Walailak University engaged in an experiential learning opportunity outside of the classroom at the Khanom Electric Learning Center, located in Nakhon Si Thammarat. This learning center provides a unique opportunity for students to integrate theoretical classroom instruction in electrical engineering with practical experience gained through exposure to real-world applications.

Assistant Professor Dr. Charernkiat Pochaiya guided the students through the learning process, helping them to understand the practical aspects of the field beyond what they had learned in the classroom. This approach to education aligns with Walailak University’s emphasis on classroom-based learning, combined with practical experience to enhance students’ skills and knowledge in their chosen field.

The study visit to the Khanom Electric Learning Center was organized by the Electrical Engineering Program at Walailak University to offer students an opportunity to gain valuable experience and self-development in the professional field. Through this visit, students were able to observe firsthand the processes and systems at work in a real workplace. This experience allowed students to integrate their theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom with practical applications in the real world. It also provides an opportunity for students to prepare for cooperative education and future projects or research in the field of electrical engineering.
