Department of Petrochemical and Polymer, School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University visits and signs agreement to build a research cooperation network at the Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn University (PPC) and Center of Excellence in Petrochemical and Materials Technology (PETROMAT)

October 12, 2020, Department of Petrochemical and Polymer, School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University organized a project to bring faculty members in the field to study, visit and negotiate to build a research cooperation network with reputable external agencies with expertise in petrochemical and polymer technology. And they also have testing equipment for research in national and international levels. This aims to exchange learning, teaching and research between the organizations in the country, to bring experience to develop teaching and research potential of the branch to be recognized at the region and internationally. Prof. Dr Sombat Thamrongthanwong, President of Walailak University along with Assoc. Prof. Dr Suraswadee Kulboon Korkuea, Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Uthen Tubwani, Head of Research Institute of the Office, Asst. Wanchat Preechativong, Head of Petrochemical and Polymer Department and official from department of faculty Petrochemicals and polymers, Walailak University traveled to visiting study and negotiate to build a network of cooperation in research at the Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn University (PPC) and the Center of Excellence in Petrochemical and Materials Technology (PETROMAT). Department Petrochemical and Polymerization respects Prof.Dr. Pramoj Rungsanvichit, Dean of the College of Petroleum and Petrochemicals, PPC boards and officials ,especially Ms. Kaewchai Khamwilaisak, Manager of Center of Excellence in Petrochemical and Materials Technology along with a respectful working group. They offer a warm and friendly welcome. On this opportunity, the faculty members from Walailak University shared learning experiences with PPC and PETROMAT Center to produce innovation with industry. As well as study visits on academic work, the visiting team also visits their workshops and laboratories to negotiate on building a collaborative network on petrochemical and polymer technology. To develop the curriculum and the potential of Thailand research to move towards the international level together
