Walailak University Students Win Gold and Silver Medals for Robotics Innovation at Southern Thailand Inventors Award 2025

Students from the Mechanical and Robotics Engineering program at Walailak University demonstrated their innovative capabilities by winning both Gold and Silver Medals at the Southern Thailand Inventors Award 2025, held from July 17–19, 2025. Their award-winning projects highlight the potential of automation in both agriculture and daily living.

🥇 Gold Medal
Project: Autonomous Grass-Cutting Robot
Category: Agricultural Innovation
This robot is designed to reduce labor costs and improve efficiency in managing large-scale grassy areas and farmlands.

🥈 Silver Medal
Project: Autonomous Vacuum and Mopping Robot
Category: Quality of Life Improvement
An intelligent robotic system developed to maintain cleanliness in homes and workplaces with minimal human intervention.
