On Wednesday, December 25, 2024, the Electrical Engineering program, Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Walailak University, organized the event “Academic Advisor Meeting with Students” at Classroom Building 1201 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event aimed to provide an opportunity for faculty members and students to meet and discuss various topics, focusing on tracking students’ academic progress, offering guidance in their studies and university life, and solving any problems they might face during their time at university.
This event is part of an initiative to ensure that students stay on track with their academic plans, enjoy their studies, and participate in extracurricular activities constructively. The program is designed to help students develop a positive mindset and effective problem-solving skills. During the event, academic advisors met with students individually to discuss any challenges they are facing, offering solutions and advice to help them overcome those challenges. This helps ensure that students are on the right path academically and personally, creating an environment conducive to learning and growth.
Additionally, this event fostered a stronger relationship between students and faculty members, which is crucial for building a supportive academic community. It also provided an opportunity for students to receive up-to-date information about the program, upcoming events, and other important news within the department, ensuring that everyone is well-informed and can participate in future activities.
The event concluded with a New Year’s celebration, where faculty and students came together to reflect on the past year and welcome the new one. The atmosphere was warm and enjoyable, with students, especially first-year students who organized the event, creating wonderful memories together. The program hopes that everyone will have a bright and successful New Year filled with positivity and achievements in all aspects of life.
This event highlights the ongoing commitment of the Electrical Engineering program to support students’ academic and personal development, ensuring that they have the tools and guidance needed to succeed both in their studies and in life beyond the classroom.
