On September 5, 2024, faculty and academic staff from the School of Engineering and Technology at Walailak University visited Yan Ta Khao Ratchanuprathum School in Trang Province to promote their programs. They provided information to 11th and 12th-grade students about undergraduate study opportunities to prepare them for university applications for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The School of Engineering and Technology offers six undergraduate programs:
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Computer and Artificial Intelligence Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering
- Mechanical and Robotics Engineering
Proactive promotion is essential to raise awareness of these programs among students. This outreach helps interested students receive accurate information about the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and career prospects after graduation. The activities included lectures by faculty members and testimonials from alumni of the school currently enrolled in the programs. These efforts are expected to increase the number of applicants, making the programs more widely known and familiar to students and the public.
