On July 24, 2024, the Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering Program organized the PEP Talk 2024 project by special speaker, Mr. Sahaphan Singtothong,
Assistant Manager of ADMER Business Technical Support, Performance Compound Division, Mitsui Chemicals (Thailand) Co., Ltd., on the topic of “Unlocking Your Career: Soft skills for Petrochemical Engineers”. The speaker shared his actual work experiences and recommendations for preparing for future careers to the students, allowing them to gain knowledge and understanding of the fields that the speaker had been in and answering questions for students who had additional doubts, which greatly benefited the students who attended the special lecture.
With the Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering Program, School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, we hope that students of the School can study in the university according to their study plan, be happy with their studies, and participate in creative activities. They have positive ideas and attitudes, can solve problems that occur to them appropriately, and receive timely information about the School.
Therefore, in order for the teaching of petrochemical and polymer engineering to achieve its objectives and be more effective, the program has organized a lecture project titled “Unlocking Your Career: Soft skills for Petrochemical Engineers” to address the need to enhance future work skills, as well as learning about presentations that meet the needs of the current era.
