On August 16, 2024, faculty members and academic staff from the School of Engineering and Technology at Walailak University visited Saparachinee Trang School in Trang Province and Phra Saeng Witthaya School in Surat Thani Province to promote their academic programs. The goal was to provide 11th and 12th-grade students with essential information about undergraduate studies, helping them prepare for university applications for the academic years 2025-2026.
The School of Engineering and Technology offers six undergraduate programs: Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, Civil Engineering, Petrochemical and Polymer Engineering, and Mechanical and Robotic Engineering.
This proactive outreach is crucial for increasing awareness of the programs among students, offering them accurate information about the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and potential career paths after graduation. The event featured presentations by faculty members and alumni from the schools, who are currently studying in these programs. This initiative is expected to boost student interest and applications, making the programs more widely known and familiar among prospective students and the general public.
